Alison Parker was shot in the head and chest with multiple bullets. The cameraman Adam ward was later shot straight in the head and according to the report from the hospital, it read that Alison Parker died from the fatal injuries to her head and her chest meanwhile the Adam ward got injuries in his head and torso which resulted in immediate death.
Vicki Gardner was also shot in the back but she managed to survive as after the first shot she fell down on the ground and played dead and the fact that the murderer had already accomplished the goals saved her life.
Because of the camera of the fallen Adam ward, the footage was recorded and was sent to higher authorities to reveal the matter. It turned out that the murderer was the Vester Lee Flanagan II, also known as Bryce Williams, a former reporter at WDBJ. He has fired 2 years ago from this event where he was working as a journalist. It’s the same workplace as the who had been forced to leave the station two years prior.
Running from the murder site, the murderer Vester Lee Flanagan was chased by the police. From further investigations, it turned out that Bryce Williams was running away in a rented car while being chased by the police.
