VMAs 2020 Nominations Full List: Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande Dominate in Nine Categories, BTS Scores Three Nods

The nominations list for MTV Video Music Awards has now been announced and well, it’s just raining noms for two big artists and it is none other Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande. The duo have scored nine nominations each for the prestigious awards ceremony that is slated to take place next month. Following Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande are Grammy-winner Billie Eilish and The Weeknd with six nominations each. There have also been made some changes in the Video Music Awards categories this year with new ones such as Best Music Video From Home and Best Quarantine Performance being introduced due to the pandemic. Rain On Me Music Video: Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande Team Up For Some Futuristic Fun In This Foot-Tapping Track and Fans Can’t Get Enough of the ‘Queens’! 

Famed K-Pop band BTS also got three nods at this year’s VMAs. The band has been nominated in three categories including Best Pop and Best Choreography with “On” and also one in Best K-Pop category. Voting has begun on MTV’s website for 15 categories, and the ceremony will be held live on Sunday, August 30. Other major artists such as rake, Dua Lipa, J Balvin and Bieber have earned four nominations each. The VMAs will be airing live on August 30 from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
